Mt. Kili - in brief for now

I could go on and on about the 7-day trek, but I restrain myself for now b/c my time is about to be up on this computer, so I'll have to continue later.
Suffice to say that it was an amazing experience and one worth every minute and penny spent. The Machame Route up, although challenging, offered amazing views at all times, and I met quite a few great people along the way, including a guy who works w/ a friend of mine in LA (Luis, you should have told me Bruno was doing this trek - we were in tents next to each other at one of the camps and so began chatting...).
I promise to go into lots more detail another day, but yes, I made it to Uhuru Peak (5896m) and Gilman's Point (5681m). The last 1000m were a huge struggle as I struggled to catch my breath the entire way up, but the sunrise was amazing.
Oops. Got to go. Times up on the computer. More later.....
