The night before

Well, I'm off tomorrow. Finally. It's almost hard to believe that I'll be in Tanzania in 2 days, and then setting off to hike up Kilimanjaro. It's been a bit crazy getting to this point, but well worth all the stress of the last few weeks as I tried to wrap things up at work while arranging for the move and for this vacation. While I'm under no delusions about the conditions of the upcoming trek (i.e., the notorious bathrooms - or lack of them, among other things), I can't wait to get started. The next blog will be from Tanzania.
